This morning, we said goodbye to our host families ; most pupils exchanged email addresses with their English families ; a few pupils cried because they were sad to leave so soon. We drove to Portsmouth and our day was dedicated to shopping. First we went to Gunwharf Quays and we took several photos under the Spinnaker Tower, then we walked to Cascades, a huge shopping centre, near Commercial road ; our meeting point was the big fountain where many of our pupils decided to have lunch. It was not too cold today. We drove to Cambridge. In the morning, we visited one of the many colleges : St John’s college which was founded in 1511. We took some photos in front of the Bridge of Sighs, which the university students have to cross to go and check the results of their exams. Then we went to St Mary’s church, we walked up the 123 steps of the tower to be able to see Cambridge from the air. We had some time to go shopping in the market and the shops around. In the afternoon, we (...)

We arrived at Buckingham Palace on time to see the changing of the guards. We had lunch (...)
